Assamese: এই কথা ভাই সকলৰ মাজত বিয়পি গ’ল; সেই শিষ্য নমৰিব বুলি যীচুৱে তেওঁক কোৱা নাই; কিন্তু "মই অহালৈকে তেওঁ যেন মোক ৰখি থাকে, মই যদি এনেদৰে থকাটো বিচাৰো, তেনেহলে তাত তোমাৰ কি কাম? অকল ইয়াকেহে কৈছিল।"


AYT: Maka, perkataan Yesus ini tersebar di antara saudara-saudara itu bahwa murid itu tidak akan mati, padahal Yesus tidak mengatakan kepadanya bahwa ia tidak akan mati, melainkan hanya berkata, "Seandainya Aku mau ia tetap hidup sampai Aku datang kembali, apa urusanmu?

Kannada: ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬ ಮಾತು ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. <<ನಾನು ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಅವನು ಉಳಿದಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ನಿನಗೇನು?>> ಎಂದು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ ആ ശിഷ്യൻ മരിക്കയില്ല എന്നൊരു ശ്രുതി സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പരന്നു. യേശുവോ: അവൻ മരിക്കയില്ല എന്നല്ല, ഞാൻ വരുവോളം ഇവൻ കാത്തിരിക്കേണം എന്നു എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അത് നിനക്ക് എന്തു എന്നത്രേ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു.

Marathi: तेव्हा बांधवांत हे बोलणे पसरले की, तो शिष्य मरणार नाही. पण येशू त्याला म्हणाला नव्हता की, तो मरणार नाही, पण ‘मी येईपर्यंत त्याने रहावे अशी जर माझी इच्छा असेल तर तुला काय?’

Punjabi: ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਓਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ । ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ । ਸਗੋਂ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹਵਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੱਕ ਓਹ ਜੀਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ? ”

Tamil: ஆகவே, அந்தச் சீடன் மரிப்பதில்லை என்கிற பேச்சு சகோதரர்களுக்குள்ளே பரவியது. ஆனாலும், அவன் மரிப்பதில்லை என்று இயேசு சொல்லாமல், நான் வரும்வரைக்கும் இவன் இருக்க எனக்கு விருப்பமானால் உனக்கென்ன என்று சொன்னார்.

Telugu: దాంతో ఆ శిష్యుడు మరణించడు అనే మాట శిష్యుల్లో పాకి పోయింది. అయితే అతడు మరణించడు అని యేసు చెప్పలేదు గానీ నేను వచ్చే వరకూ అతడు ఉండడం నాకిష్టమైతే నీకేంటి, అని మాత్రమే అన్నాడు.

Urdu: नतीजे में भाइयों में यह ख़याल फैल गया कि यह शागिर्द नहीं मरेगा। लेकिन ईसा ने यह बात नहीं की थी। उस ने सिर्फ़ यह कहा था, “अगर मैं चाहूँ कि यह मेरे वापस आने तक ज़िन्दा रहे तो तुझे क्या?”


NETBible: So the saying circulated among the brothers and sisters that this disciple was not going to die. But Jesus did not say to him that he was not going to die, but rather, “If I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours?”
