Assamese: যি কোনোৱে নিজৰ নিৰ্মাণকৰ্ত্তাৰ লগত বাদানুবাদ কৰে, তেওঁৰ সন্তাপ হ’ব! তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ সকলো মাটিৰ খোলাকটিবোৰৰ মাজৰ এডোখৰ খোলাকটি মাথোন! ‘ তুমি কি কৰিছা?’ এই বুলি জানো কুমাৰ জনক মাটিয়ে ক’ব? বা ‘তুমি কি বনাইছা- যেতিয়া তুমি এইটো কৰিছিলা তেতিয়া তোমাৰ অধিকাৰ নাছিল নেকি?’তাৰ হাত নাই, এই বুলি জানো তোমাৰ সজা বস্তুৱে ক’ব?


AYT: "Celakalah orang yang berselisih dengan Penciptanya, sekeping tembikar di antara tembikar-tembikar tanah. Apakah tanah liat bertanya kepada tukang periuk, 'Apa yang sedang kamu buat?' atau hasil karyamu berkata, 'Dia tidak memiliki tangan?'

Gujarati: જે કોઈ પોતાના કર્તાની સામે દલીલ કરે છે તેને અફસોસ! તે ભૂમિમાં માટીના ઠીકરામાંનું ઠીકરું જ છે! શું માટી કુંભારને પૂછશે કે, 'તું શું કરે છે?' અથવા 'તું જે બનાવી રહ્યો હતો તે કહેશે કે - તારા હાથ નથી?'

Hindi: “हाय उस पर जो अपने रचनेवाले से झगड़ता है! वह तो मिट्टी के ठीकरों में से एक ठीकरा ही है! क्‍या मिट्टी कुम्‍हार से कहेगी, ‘तू यह क्‍या करता है?’ क्‍या कारीगर का बनाया हुआ कार्य उसके विषय कहेगा, ‘उसके हाथ नहीं है’?

Kannada: ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದಾತನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವವನ ಗತಿ ಏನು! ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಡಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೂ ಒಂದು ಮಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲವೆ! ಮಣ್ಣು ಕುಂಬಾರನಿಗೆ, <ನೀನು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ?> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವುದುಂಟೇ? ಅಥವಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯವು, <ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೈಯಿಲ್ಲ> ಅಂದೀತೇ?

Marathi: “ह्या लोकांकडे पाहा ते त्यांच्या निर्मात्याशीच वाद घालीत आहेत. माझ्याशी वाद घालणाऱ्यांकडे पाहा. ते खापराच्या तुकड्यासारखे आहेत. कुंभार भांडे करण्यासाठी मऊ, ओला चिखल वापरतो पण चिखल त्याला ‘तू काय करतोस?’ असे विचारीत नाही. निर्मितीला निर्मात्याला प्रश्र्न विचारण्याची हिंमत नसते. हे लोक त्या चिखलासारखे आहेत.

Odiya: ଯେ ଆପଣା ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିରୋଧ କରେ, ସେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର ! ପୃଥିବୀର ଖପରା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଖଣ୍ଡେ ଖପରା ମାତ୍ର ! ମୃତ୍ତିକା କ'ଣ ତା'ର ଗଢ଼ିବା ଲୋକକୁ କହିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରୁଅଛ ? ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର କର୍ମ କ'ଣ କହିବ, ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ନାହିଁ ?

Punjabi: ਹਾਇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਠੀਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਠੀਕਰਾ ਹੈ ! ਭਲਾ, ਮਿੱਟੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੇ, ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ? ਜਾਂ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਇਹ ਆਖੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ !

Telugu: మట్టికుండ పెంకుల్లో ఒక పెంకులాటి ఒకడు తనను చేసిన వానితో వాదిస్తే వాడికి బాధ. బంకమట్టి కుమ్మరితో <నువ్వేం చేస్తున్నావ్?> అనవచ్చా? <నువ్వు చేసినపుడు నీకు చేతులు లేవా?> అనగలదా?


NETBible: One who argues with his creator is in grave danger, one who is like a mere shard among the other shards on the ground! The clay should not say to the potter, “What in the world are you doing? Your work lacks skill!”

NASB: "Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— An earthenware vessel among the vessels of earth! Will the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?
