AYT: dan jika orang itu sembuh dan dapat berjalan kembali, orang yang melukainya tidak harus dihukum. Akan tetapi, ia harus membayar kerugian waktu dari orang yang dipukulnya dan merawat orang itu sampai benar-benar sembuh.

Gujarati: પછી જ્યારે તે સાજો થઈને લાકડી લઈને હરતો-ફરતો થઈ જાય, તો જે માણસે તેને માર્યો હોય તે છૂટી જાય ખરો, પરંતુ તેણે પેલા માણસને સમય અને કામની નુકસાની ભરપાઈ કરવી અને સંપૂર્ણ સાજો થાય ત્યાં સુધીની સારવારની તથા અન્ય જવાબદારી મારનારની રહે.
