Assamese: যিপ্তহে নিজৰ জীয়েকক দেখা পোৱা মাত্ৰে নিজৰ কাপোৰ ফালি ক’লে, “হায়, মোৰ মাজনী! তুমি মোলৈ এয়া কি সর্বনাশ কৰিলা! তুমি যে মোক অতিশয় বেজাৰ দিলা! কিয়নো মই যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে যি শপত খালো, মই তাৰ পৰা ঘূৰিব নোৱাৰোঁ।”


AYT: Ketika dilihatnya anaknya, ia mengoyakkan bajunya dan berkata, "Celakalah anakku, engkau membuat hatiku hancur dan luluh. Engkau akan mencelakakan aku, sebab aku telah membuka mulutku bernazar kepada TUHAN dan tidak dapat mundur.

Punjabi: ਤਦ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਹਾਏ ਮੇਰੀਏ ਧੀਏ ! ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੈਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਟਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ।"
