Assamese: কিন্তু তেওঁ নিজে এদিনৰ বাট মৰুপ্রান্তৰ মাজেদি গৈ এজোপা ৰোতম গছৰ তলত বহিল। তেওঁ নিজৰ বাবে মৃত্যু প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে আৰু ক’লে, “এয়ে যথেষ্ট, হে যিহোৱা, মোৰ প্ৰাণ লোৱা, কিয়নো মই নিজ পূৰ্ব্ব-পুৰুষসকলতকৈ উত্তম নহওঁ।”


AYT: Ia sendiri pergi ke padang gurun, dengan menempuh perjalanan sehari. Ketika sampai, ia duduk di bawah sebuah pohon arar. Ia lalu ingin meminta agar nyawanya menjadi mati. Katanya, "Cukuplah sekarang, ya TUHAN! Ambillah nyawaku, sebab aku tidak lebih baik dari nenek moyangku.
