Kannada: ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಚಾರೆಪ್ತಾದ ಊರುಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಸೌದೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿಧವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿ, <<ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
