Marathi: कारण तू “यिर्मया, पायदळबरोबर धावलास आणि त्यांनी तूला दमवले, तर मग घोड्यांबरोबर तू कसा धावशील? जर तू सुरक्षित आणि उघड्या देशात पडतोस तर यार्देन नदीकिनारी वाढणाऱ्या काटेरी झुडुंपात तू काय करशील?


AYT: "Jika kamu telah berlari dengan orang-orang yang berjalan kaki dan mereka telah membuatmu lelah, lalu bagaimana kamu dapat berlomba dengan kuda-kuda? Dan, jika kepada negeri damai kamu percaya, apa yang akan kamu lakukan di semak belukar dekat Sungai Yordan?



Assamese: তুমি পদাতিকসকলকৰ লগত লৰ মাৰিলে, তেওঁলোকে যদি তোমাক ক্লান্ত কৰে, তেন্তে ঘোঁৰাৰ লগত লৰ মাৰি কেনেকৈ জিকিবা? আৰু যদিও তুমি শান্তিৰ দেশত নিৰাপদে থাকা, তথাপি যৰ্দ্দনৰ শোভাস্বৰূপ অৰণ্যত কি কৰিবা?

Bengali: যিরমিয়, যদি তুমি, পদাতিক সৈন্যদের সঙ্গে দৌড়াও এবং তারা তোমাকে ক্লান্ত করে ফেলে, তবে তুমি ঘোড়াদের সঙ্গে দৌড়ে কি করে শেষ করবে? যদি তুমি উন্মুক্ত ও সুরক্ষিত দেশে পতিত হও, তাহলে যর্দনের ঘন ঝোপঝাড়ে তুমি কি করবে?

Gujarati: માટે જો તું પાયદળો સાથે દોડયો અને તેઓએ તને થકવ્યો, પછી તું ઘોડાઓ સાથે શી રીતે હોડમાં ઊતરશે? જો કે તું સલામત પ્રદેશમાં નિર્ભય છે, તોપણ યર્દનના જંગલમાં તારું શું થશે?

Hindi: “तू जो प्‍यादों ही के संग दौड़कर थक गया है तो घोड़ों के संग क्‍योंकर बराबरी कर सकेगा? और यद्यपि तू शान्‍ति के इस देश में निडर है, परन्‍तु यरदन के आसपास के घने जंगल में तू क्‍या करेगा?

Kannada: ಇಂತೆನ್ನುವ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಓಡಿ ಆಯಾಸಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗುವಿ? ಅಪಾಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನಿರ್ಭಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಯೋರ್ದಾನಿನ ದಟ್ಟಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿ?

Odiya: ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପଦାତିକଗଣର ସଙ୍ଗେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଲେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଶ୍ୱଗଣ ସଙ୍ଗରେ କିପରି ପଣ କରି ପାରିବ ? ପୁଣି, ଯଦ୍ୟପି ଶାନ୍ତିର ଦେଶରେ ନିର୍ଭୟ ହୁଅ, ତଥାପି ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ଦର୍ପ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ କରିବ ?

Punjabi: ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਪੈਦਲ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੌੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਥਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ? ਜੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਯਰਦਨ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ?

Tamil: நீ காலாட்களுடன் ஓடும்போதே உன்னை சோர்வடையச் செய்தார்களானால், குதிரைகளுடன் எப்படிச் சேர்ந்து ஓடுவாய்? சமாதானமுள்ள தேசத்திலேயே நீ அடைக்கலம் தேடினால், யோர்தான் பெருகிவரும்போது நீ என்ன செய்வாய்?

Telugu: యిర్మీయా, నువ్వు పాదచారులతో పరుగెత్తినప్పుడే నీవు అలసిపోయావు కదా, నువ్వు గుర్రపు రౌతులతో ఏ విధంగా పోటీ పడతావు? నెమ్మదిగా ఉన్న ప్రాంతంలోనే నువ్వు నిశ్చింతగా ఉండగలవు. మరి యొర్దాను పరవళ్ళు తొక్కుతూ వస్తే నీవేం చేస్తావు?


NETBible: The Lord answered, “If you have raced on foot against men and they have worn you out, how will you be able to compete with horses? And if you feel secure only in safe and open country, how will you manage in the thick undergrowth along the Jordan River?

NASB: "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?

HCSB: If you have raced with runners and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in a peaceful land, what will you do in the thickets of the Jordan?

MSG: "So, Jeremiah, if you're worn out in this footrace with men, what makes you think you can race against horses? And if you can't keep your wits during times of calm, what's going to happen when troubles break loose like the Jordan in flood?

CEV: Jeremiah, if you get tired in a race against people, how can you possibly run against horses? If you fall in open fields, what will happen in the forest along the Jordan River?
