LEB: Suppose a rich person wasn’t satisfied with good things while he was alive and didn’t even get an honorable burial after he died. Suppose he had a hundred children and lived for many years. No matter how long he would have lived, it still would have been better for him to have been born dead.


AYT: Jika seseorang memperanakkan seratus anak, dan tahun-tahun hidupnya banyak sehingga dirinya berumur panjang, tetapi jiwanya tidak puas dengan kebaikan, bahkan tidak ada penguburan baginya, aku mengatakan bahwa bayi yang gugur lebih baik daripada orang itu.

Kannada: ನೂರಾರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಮುಪ್ಪಿನ ಮುದುಕನಾಗುವ ತನಕ ಬಹಳ ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದವನಿಗೆ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿಯೂ, ಉತ್ತರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಇವನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಗರ್ಭಸ್ರಾವದ ಪಿಂಡವೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
