Assamese: দায়ুদে ক’লে, “নাহচৰ পুত্র হানোনে মোৰ প্রতি দয়া দেখুৱাইছিল, সেয়েহে মইও তেওঁলৈ দয়া কৰিম।” সেই বাবে দায়ূদে তেওঁৰ পিতৃক সান্তনা দিবলৈ বাৰ্তাবহক সকলক পঠালে। দায়ূদৰ দাসসকল অম্মোনৰ দেশত সোমাই হানূনক শান্তনা দিবলৈ তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল।


AYT: Daud berkata, "Aku akan menunjukkan kebaikanku kepada Hanun, anak Nahas, sebab ayahnya telah menunjukkan kebaikannya kepadaku." Daud mengirim utusan untuk menghibur dia karena ayahnya itu. Pegawai-pegawai Daud sampai di negeri keturunan Amon untuk menghadap Hanun dan menyampaikan penghiburan.

Kannada: ದಾವೀದನು, <<ನಾಹಾಷನು ನನಗೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹಾನೂನನಿಗೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸುವೆನು>> ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಪಿತೃಶೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಾನೂನನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ದಾವೀದನ ಸೇವಕರು ಹಾನೂನನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
