Assamese: তাৰ পাছত ৰজা ওচৰেদি যাওঁতে, তেওঁ বৰ মাতেৰে ৰজাক ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ এই দাসে যুদ্ধলৈ যাওঁতে, এজন সৈনিক ঘূৰি আহি মোৰ ওচৰলৈ এজন শত্ৰুক আনি ক’লে, ‘এই লোকজনক ৰাখা; যদি তেওঁ কেনেবাকৈ হেৰায়, তেন্তে তাৰ প্ৰাণৰ সলনি তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ যাব, নাইবা তুমি এক কিক্কৰ পৰিমাণ ৰূপ দিব লাগিব।’


AYT: Ketika raja lewat, ia pun mengadu kepada raja demikian, "Hambamu ini sedang maju ke tengah-tengah pertempuran, tiba-tiba seseorang meninggalkan barisan dengan membawa seorang laki-laki kepadaku sambil berkata, 'Jagalah orang ini. Jika ia yang dipercayakan hilang dengan cara bagaimanapun juga, maka nyawamu adalah ganti nyawanya, atau setalenta perak harus engkau bayarkan.'

Kannada: ಆವನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕಾದ ನಾನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ರಣರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕನು ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, <ನೀನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಕಾಯಬೇಕು, ಇವನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಇವನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನದಾಗಿರುವುದು ಅಥವಾ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಒಂದು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು> ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
