AYT: Bukankah mereka semua akan melontarkan peribahasa mengenai dia, dengan nyanyian olok-olokan serta sindiran ini, "Celakalah orang yang memperbanyak dari apa yang bukan miliknya - berapa lama lagi? Dan, yang memberati dirinya dengan barang gadaian!"

Kannada: ಆದರೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನ ದುರಾಶೆಯ ಪಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದವರು ಅವನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಗೇಲಿ, ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯದ ಲಾವಣಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ ಹಾಡುವರು. <<ಅನ್ಯರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುವವನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು, ಅವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವನು!>>

Marathi: सर्वच लोक त्याच्या विरूद्ध बोधकथा घेणार नाहीत काय, आणि त्याला म्हणीने टोमने मारतील व म्हणतील. जो आपले नाही ते वाढवतो, त्याला हाय हाय! कारण किती वेळ तु घेतलल्या प्रतिज्ञांचा बोझा वाढवशील?

Punjabi: ਕੀ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਹਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਗੇ ? ਉਹ ਆਖਣਗੇ, "ਹਾਇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਪਰਾਇਆ ਧਨ ਲੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ! ਜੋ ਪਰਾਏ ਮਾਲ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਦਦਾ ਹੈ ! ਪਰ ਕਦ ਤੱਕ ? "

Tamil: இவர்களெல்லோரும் அவன்பேரில் ஒரு பழமொழியையும், அவனுக்கு விரோதமான பழிச்சொல்லையும் கூறி, தன்னுடையதல்லாததைத் தனக்காகச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ என்றும், அது எதுவரைக்கும் நிற்கும் என்றும், அவன் தன்மேல் களிமண் சுமையையல்லவா சுமத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறான் என்றும் சொல்லுவார்கள்.

Telugu: తనది కాని దాన్ని ఆక్రమించి అభివృద్ధి పొందిన వాడికి బాధ. తాకట్టు సొమ్మును నీవు ఎంతకాలం పట్టుకుంటావు? వాడు ఎన్నాళ్లు నిలుచును అని చెప్పుకుంటూ వీరంతా ఇతని విషయం ఉపమానరీతిగా అపహాస్యపు సామెత ఎత్తుతారు గదా.


NETBible: “But all these nations will someday taunt him and ridicule him with proverbial sayings: ‘The one who accumulates what does not belong to him is as good as dead (How long will this go on?) – he who gets rich by extortion!’
