5offer your due of sacrifice, and put your trust in the LORD.
6There are many who say, “If only we might see good times! Let the light of your face shine on us, LORD.”
7But you have put into my heart a greater happiness than others had from grain and wine in plenty.
8Now in peace I shall lie down and sleep; for it is you alone, LORD, who let me live in safety.
