Hindi: तब दाऊद राजा खड़ा होकर कहने लगा, “हे मेरे भाईयों! और हे मेरी प्रजा के लोगो ! मेरी सुनो, मेरी मनसा तो थी कि यहोवा की वाचा के सन्‍दूक के लिये और हम लोगों के परमेश्‍वर के चरणों की पीढ़ी के लिये विश्राम का एक भवन बनाऊँ, और मैं ने उसके बनाने की तैयारी की थी।
