Gujarati: યાજક તે પક્ષીને બે પાંખો વચ્ચેથી ચીરે, પરંતુ તેના બે ભાગ જુદા થવા ન દે. પછી યાજક વેદી પરના અગ્નિ પરનાં લાકડાં પર તેનું દહન કરે. તે યહોવાહને માટે સુવાસિત દહનીયાર્પણ એટલે હોમયજ્ઞ છે.
